Our people are special and so are the jobs they do. Below are brief descriptions of the types of work available at Family Ice Center.
Front Desk Customer Service Rep
Family Ice Center CSR’s - the people behind our sales desk. This is who our customer encounters first when arriving at Family Ice Center. This group of individuals works to assist our patrons in any way possible. They have a wealth of information regarding the programs we offer and can quickly and easily process enrollments in these programs. They are also ready to serve our customer and get them on the ice as quickly as possible by processing your public skate pass, pickup hockey reservation or learn to skate question!
Skate Guards
Our skate monitors are the “A” team on the ice, out there to ensure that the first priority is the safety of all of our patrons. They will gladly assist you with properly fitting your rental skates, be by your side should you fall and they help to keep the “FUN” moving along. Don’t be afraid to skate by them and say “Hi!” We think they are also some of the nicest people you will ever meet!
Skate Shop Sales Associate
Nobody knows the technical side of skate maintenance better than our crew. Many of our employees have grown up at ice rinks! They will gladly inform you about the many services & products offered and
help you in making an educated choice about what you need. They don’t just sell it because it’s their job…they live hockey & skating every day!!!
Hockey League Scorekeepers
Family Ice hosts numerous hockey leagues and tournaments each year and we are always looking for hockey enthusiasts who know the rules and can keep the games moving along.
Ice Resurfacer Driver
Ice is our business and no one knows it better than the folks who resurface and maintain it on a regular basis. It takes a huge effort to keep the ice maintained and we owe all of our thanks to this group of individuals who make this happen every day. Family Ice prides itself on offering a certified training program and continuing education for the entire ice crew.
Ice Arena Technician
These folks are the “managers on duty” and make our facility go each day. They work diligently to monitor the entire operation, facility operating systems and equipment and the entire operations team to ensure that our patrons are experiencing the highest quality experience possible. Security is of utmost importance to our managers as well. The manager on duty wears many hats and is always available for patron’s questions and concerns.
